Y-DNA for Eggert Eggertsson, born in Stora Kopparberg parish 12/19/1768

Eggert Eggertsson had two sons, Lars and Eggert. I have DNA tested a Y line (ie male only line) up to the present for each son. The lines match each other with gd=1 over 37 markers (Y-DNA37) which is exactly what you would expect. This means that the family lines can be considered DNA-confirmed.

The two men tested were found to belong to haplogroup R1b-M269. Further details of the placement in the haplogroup tree are not known, for that a BigY700 test or equivalent is required.
