Astrid and I walked around the island of Trysunda today. The island has several highlights that I usually return to. At the small sea urchin at the northern tip, siles hairs grow that are carnivorous, or at least insectivorous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the bay Bj\u00f6rnviken at the northern side of the island there is an old locomobile (movable steam engine), a remnant from an attempt at mining. Last time I was here, I think it was quite overgrown, but now it was actually nice at the place. It's nice that it is preserved. I don't think I've ever climbed onto the locomotive before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Storviken facing the sea there are fantastic cobblestone beaches and cliffs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next to Trysunda is the rock island Skrubban, which largely has completely vertical sides. In the picture, Trysunda can be seen behind\/above Skrubban.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vid Bj\u00f6rnviken p\u00e5 norra sidan finns en gammal lokomobil (flyttbar \u00e5ngmaskin), en rest fr\u00e5n ett f\u00f6rs\u00f6k till gruvdrift.
