After a night in Ulv\u00f6hamn, we wanted to go exploring. We rowed across the strait to S\u00f6dra Ulv\u00f6n to walk along the side towards the sea. The target was Rensviken, a small round lagoon which a few decades ago was a popular excursion port for motorboats, see Lantm\u00e4teriet's aerial photo from 1975 where five boats lie on the beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rensviken is no longer a bay. It is cut off from the sea even when at high tide, like today, 20 cm above mean water level. The land lift is very noticeable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
