After four nights in Sj\u00f6bodviken, we felt it was time to turn north. The wind was westerly and gave us a good boost quickly up past Rotsidan, Barsta and H\u00f6gbonden and towards evening we slipped into Norrf\u00e4llsviken. We berthed on the inside of the right bridge, a quiet place. There weren't actually that many sailboats here, it felt a bit unusual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We paid for the place and then went at 18:00 on Tuesday 18 July according to the instructions up to the campsite's reception 300 meters up the hill to check in. We needed to get into the locked service premises; toilet, shower, kitchen, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Out of keys<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
When we asked for keys to the service section, we were told that they are out of stock:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There used to be a deposit to get a key but it wasn't appreciated so we removed it. But then the keys disappeared instead, so now they're gone. We would therefore have to knock on boat neighbors to look for a key in case we accidentally wanted to take a shower or go to the toilet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When I protested, the person at the front desk had an innovative idea - she said "Well, if we introduce a deposit fee of SEK 1,500 then we have solved the problem<\/strong>”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, they promised to send the cleaners down to unlock the premises so we could use them - something that did not happen. The toilet and shower were locked at 9.15pm this evening 18 July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A guest port without any service - can it be called a guest port?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
I sent an email to the campsite that same evening that it was still not unlocked, but they have not responded 1.5 days later. Obviously, you are completely uninterested in your guest port.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It became Skulebergets Havscamping instead<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
We slept for a few hours but already at 05.00 we were on our feet. We cast off and went on to Skulebergets Havcamping 10 minutes north. Much nicer.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
