After the trip to Holm\u00f6gadd at the beginning of September, for several weeks I had hopes of getting out on one last trip - perhaps to Norrsk\u00e4r on the Finnish side. But it didn't work out, the wind wasn't right, it was getting darker and darker and I had other things to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunday, October 1, we set sail. Eva was at home tinkering with other things, but I had great help from my daughters Elsa and Astrid. It was a bit windy but there were no problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday, October 14, was the booked admission day. The drizzle was in the air when S\/Y Turid II was the first boat to be lifted at 9 in the morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next day I mounted the newly purchased used cover stand (NOA). A bit tricky to do it the first time but no major problems. I also ran antifreeze (environmentally friendly Vake) into the cooling water loop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday October 26th I ran the heater one last time, put the tarp on and tied the string. Thus, the 2023 season was definitely over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
