This afternoon it's off - we'll look at a boat and maybe sail it home. Now we pack everything imaginable that may be needed for the return journey. We prepare for all eventualities, the boat is new to us and we don't quite know what is missing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chart SE429 "The Quark \/ Norra Kvarken" has been purchased. Apart from the fact that chartplotters can go on strike or may be poorly updated, I like classic navigation. It's a bit sad to be completely in the hands of the electronics, especially during longer stretches at sea. Drawing course lines, marking lines for hours, and then tracking where we are - that's a big part of the charm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Otherwise, we have picked up a huge amount of food and clothes - you never know how long we will be gone and if the weather forecast is wrong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
