Today we saw Vasa together with our good friends Greta and her brother Per-Johan. Long-awaited were the pigs (a kind of Ostrobothnian frigate monks) that Greta brought with her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had a good lunch at nice old Strampen and got a drive out to Replot and Gamla Vasa. We also had time for a tour of the City Hall Park, where arborist Daniel Daggfeldt told us about tree architecture, i.e. principles for how different types of trees grow and develop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tomorrow morning we leave for Holmsund for the end of the summer holiday trip.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
