Jakobstad

Published

On Sunday morning we got up early and already at half past eight we were on our way to Jakobstad. Some tailwind was expected but it was calm almost the whole way. Only in the login to Jeppis did it blow up.

The fairway was a bit exciting because the depth indication was a bit fuzzy in some places, but at low speed we made our way without problems and had the depth confirmed.

The mooring towards the jetty went well, even though it was quite windy in the villages.

In the evening we were visited by Greta and Per-Johan who joined us for dinner on a smoked whitefish from Umeå.

The rain increased during the night and continued most of Monday. We made a bicycle excursion to the center and looked at, among other things, on Aspegren's garden and and the well-preserved district of Skatan. Pedersörenejden's village museum was closed and the museum entrance was difficult to force.
