Today we saw Vasa together with our good friends Greta and her brother Per-Johan. Long-awaited were the pigs (a kind of Ostrobothnian frigate monks) that Greta brought with her.
We had a good lunch at nice old Strampen and got a drive out to Replot and Gamla Vasa. We also had time for a tour of the City Hall Park, where arborist Daniel Daggfeldt told us about tree architecture, i.e. principles for how different types of trees grow and develop.
Tomorrow morning we leave for Holmsund for the end of the summer holiday trip.
