The last day of our first holiday together with our own boat. Pictured is Vasa's cogeneration plant in the early morning light.
At three this afternoon we arrived in Holmsund and our trip to the furthest part of Estonia is over. We have sailed/drove 953.5 distance minutes with Turid II (177 land miles) in 33 days in mostly decent weather, albeit changeable and with a lot of wind.
We started from Vasa at six this morning, when the sun had just risen. It had changed to a southerly wind and we could sail at a decent speed for a couple of hours. But when we got further out towards the sea, it swelled and it still had to be an engine.
Now we are looking forward to some weekend trips in August and September.
