Astrid and I walked around the island of Trysunda today. The island has several highlights that I usually return to. At the small sea urchin at the northern tip, siles hairs grow that are carnivorous, or at least insectivorous.
At the bay Björnviken at the northern side of the island there is an old locomobile (movable steam engine), a remnant from an attempt at mining. Last time I was here, I think it was quite overgrown, but now it was actually nice at the place. It's nice that it is preserved. I don't think I've ever climbed onto the locomotive before.
In Storviken facing the sea there are fantastic cobblestone beaches and cliffs.
Next to Trysunda is the rock island Skrubban, which largely has completely vertical sides. In the picture, Trysunda can be seen behind/above Skrubban.
