Arrived in Örnsköldsvik

Published

Astrid and I thought we would sail the fairly short distance from Vågön to Örnsköldsvik's guest harbor, but the thunderclouds towered over land so we had to hurry to get to port.

In the harbor we had roughly the same neighbors as we had the last two nights - Finnish sailors. THe Swedish boats were surprisingly rare.

After a trip to town with sushi lunch and coffee at Espresso House, Astrid sat down in the service house to study for a couple of hours while I waited for grandfather to come by. Astrid took the train home to Umeå and I went with grandfather to Järved for dinner. Meanwhile, Eva sat on the train from Stockholm to Umeå, her week with the clown Manne was over. She's coming down to me at Turid II on Saturday.
