Jakob:
Nice sailing from the home port in a fairly fresh sea breeze. When we arrived, there was no room at the stone pier in the inlet, so we first went in to the restaurant pier and moored with a stern buoy. There it is shallow and the maneuvering space is small. We dared to go there because after all it was 2 dm high tide, always a little better margin.
After a short while one of the boats left at the pier so we cast off from the restaurant pier to go there. It was not entirely easy because the harbor is narrow, the wind was blowing and the boat is sluggish. But we got around in the end…
In Rovöger they make sour strömming, Rovöger's sour strömming is a rare delicacy. But if you're out early at the beginning of August, it's fine to buy it on the spot. The jar is now in safe custody at home in the fridge.
A few kilometers up the road and then a bit to the right you will find a labyrinth. Judging by the height above sea level, it is perhaps from the 16th – 17th century or so.
