Mjältön - new beaches

Published

It was raining over land, so we set off from Skulebergets Havscamping on Thursday afternoon. It was at the last minute, but we drove away from the rain, heading for Mjältön and the sun.

In Baggviken on Mjältön, calm reigned. The cockpits were filled with lazy boat crews. But in the afternoon it was still exciting. It was quite full after the jetty and several boats came and went. Anchors were raised and lowered every other and at least one boat became firmly caught in another's line. There was a small intermezzo with diving where the rest of us were on the first floor.

On Friday there was a walk to new grounds. We followed the path to Baggsand just south of Baggviken and from there followed the beach around the cape back. We had a huge sandy beach all to ourselves, it was awesome!
